Hamble Valley

On the south coast of Hampshire, reaching from the River Hamble and along the Solent, The Hamble Valley is the perfect place to explore. Even if just for a day or a long weekend, there are plenty of interesting places to visit, including picturesque villages, and open countryside spread across 800 acres. Also the New Forest, Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester and ferry links to the Isle of Wight are all within easy reach.
From watching the yachts on The Hamble River to shopping in Botley; markets in Eastleigh to the peace and tranquility of Netley Abbey, the many delightful and picturesque villages offer something for everyone.
Apart from the towns and villages there are beautiful countryside walks. Inviting menus can be found in the pubs, cafes and restaurants.

You could perhaps combine your visit with sampling one of the many events that the Hamble Valley has to offer.
Festivals and events are taking place all year long at the many attractions which include Eastleigh Lakeside Railway, Manor Farm Country Park, Itchen Valley Country Park. You will also find village events such as the June Summer Festival in Botley, Hamble Week in July and the assorted carnivals across Hamble Valley.
Discover other interesting places to visit, including the parishes of Hamble-le-Rice, Netley, Botley, West End, Bursledon, Hedge End, Hound plus the railway town of Eastleigh and residential areas of Chandlers Ford, Fair Oak and Bishopstoke, Hamble Valley is also home to Fareham Bishops Waltham and Wickham.


Hamble Valley
