New Forest & Hampshire County Show – 28th, 29th & 30th July

Highlights for the 2009 Show include the Pony Club Mounted Games, Jamie Squibb and his motorcycle stunt display team and New Forest pig racing! In addition, the impressive livestock grand parade is being brought back by popular demand, giving some of the champions of the cattle and horse competitions the honour of showing off their prized animals in the main ring. Vintage vehicles, including steam engines, tractors, classic cars and motorcycles will also be on display.
The Show prides itself in giving local Hampshire Food Producers the opportunity to showcase their wares, so this is just the place to do your weekly food shopping, knowing that you are buying the best, the freshest and the most delicious produce available. Need inspiration for your garden, or always wanted to try your hand at flower arranging? Then inhale the captivating scents of the flower marquee, wonder at the amazing giant vegetables and enjoy the floral displays.
Children, whatever their ages will have the most wonderful time. The Forest Fun Factory provides all day entertainment, including dancing, face-painting, circus workshops and listening to magical story telling, not forgetting a whole range of sporting activities. There are children’s competitions, quizzes and games in almost every marquee across the Showground.
Other special events include an antiques fair, a woodcarving exhibition, an art gallery and some of the best craft tents in the Country.
