Description

Award winning food and a warm welcome will greet you at this waterside Grade II listed gastro pub in Hamble. With an AA rosette for its dining and an entry in Michelin’s Eating Out in Pubs guide, quality is assured. Well-kept local real ales, first class wines and speciality rums accompany exceptional British dishes

The seasonal menu uses fresh, top quality ingredients, using local produce, plus a daily specials board is also available, along with traditional roasts at weekends and children’s portions. Food can be enjoyed in either the stylish restaurant or as range of bar bites whilst you relax with a drink. In addition to the bar and restaurant areas, private dining is available upstairs in ‘The Captain’s Table’ which can accommodate up to 12 guests. Coffee, cake and free Wi-Fi also make it the perfect place to have a relaxing break.

Situated in the beautiful village of Hamble, and with river views and a waterside location, the pub and restaurant feature natural flagstone floors, exposed beams and brickwork, a solid oak bar and real open fires. You can also enjoy alfresco dining under our heated umbrellas taking in the river views. Dogs allowed, except in the restaurant.
